This is just a very simple article, listing some great apps that will increase your productivity across multiple platforms.
1. Evernote – iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS X, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7 and Web. Evernote, as most of you probably know already, Evernote is a great note taking application that contains features such as lists, reminders and, of course, taking simple notes. If you don’t already use Evernote then I highly recommend that you give it a go as it can easily become one of the best apps that you use and I think you will find that it very quickly becomes part of your everyday life.
2. Wunderlist – iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS X, Web. Wunderlist is a great productivity app that allows you make lists inside which you can put individual tasks. This is a great app for task management, and for the price of exactly free it is a great deal. I have tried many task management application that cost up to £25 and Wunderlist is better than all of them. Give it a go! It’s great!
3. Dropbox – iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS X, Web. If you don’t use Dropbox, then you are missing out. Dropbox is a cloud based storage system that allows users to place a file in a folder that is then synced up to the cloud and it available on all of your devices. Although it is quite expersive to expand your storage it is probably worth it. However, if you are concerned of the cost then InSync is a good alternative that works specifically with Google Docs.
4. Box – iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Web. Although very similar to Dropbox, I use Box for all of my online storage. Because I have a Sony Ericsson phone I get 50GB of storage for free – this is great as it allows me to backup every single file that I have off site and safely in the cloud. This offer also works for BlackBerry PlayBook users and, I believe, iOS users. Check it out, it might just save you from a sticky situation.
