Koobface: An emerging threat for computer security

Computer security is a big thing in the age of internet. No one wants their private information to go public or their important banking data stolen. Still there are people who intentionally develop malwares that are designed to do just that.

This is a multi-purpose type of application that not only takes care of just viruses but can also defragment your computer or even check for other variants of harmful applications. It ranked in the top ten on CNET’s top download list and is recommended by other users as well. So seeing this application edged me into downloading it.
